BANK PASS PAYMENT SYSTEM
BankPass Web is based on a very simple mechanism: once the purchasing phase is completed on the S.I.F.F.. website, the user shifts to the PFE site to effect payment of the amount due, then returning to the S.I.F.F.. shop with a receipt issued by the said PFE. At this point, the S.I.F.F.. shop will initiate the process of shipping the goods.
The end customer can choose which payment method to use among those made available by the service:
1. Bankpass Web member using the tools in your Wallet
2. or SSL.
System Bankpass Web (virtual credit card)
The end-user member, or non-member of the service, is called upon to fill in the fields of a simple HTML page. You do not need the help of an agent apart from your browser, no plug-ins or ActiveX to "download" and install.
The fact that generally you need only fill out the form means that there is no restriction on the hardware platform or operating system: the user can use any computer with an available 128-bit SSL-enabled browser (virtually all those currently on the market).
The end user, who is "redirected" from the shop to the BankPass Web site, is greeted with a screen that allows him to choose the way in which payment is to be made. Customers belonging to BankPass Web, will choose the bank that issued their Wallet through a special menu; they can then effectuate the login operation by the Wallet. Having completed the payment transaction, PFE communicates the result to the merchant system, and the customer can return to the store and bringing with him the "receipt" attesting to the conclusion of the transaction. Where authorization has been granted, the result will be communicated both to the user that the store, after which the client, by clicking on a button, returns by his browser to a page of the store of origin (the URL of this page is indicated in the initial redirect message). If the result is negative, the user is shown a short message explaining the reason for the denial; at which point the user can choose whether to retry to effect the transaction or whether to return to the store.
SSL Method- credit card
Customers who wish to complete their payment directly providing credit card information must "click" on the logos of credit cards accepted: Visa or MasterCard (SSL mode). The end user who chooses the SSL method must fill out the fields in a form where the details of his credit card are collected.
To use the SSL method does not require registration by the purchaser. This method makes possible purchases by foreign customers who are not members of Bank Pass Web
BankPass Method (customer member)
The customer who chooses the BankPass Web method must be an adherent to the BankPass Web system The choice is made by simply choosing the bank that issued the wallet, filling in the available "login" and "password" boxes and by clicking on "enter". The client, once authenticated, will see the list of instruments (credit cards or ATM) available in your wallet compatible with those accepted by the site operator.
Choosing the instrument with which payment is intended starts the payment process.
On completion of the transaction, the system performs as in the SSL method: where permission has been granted, the outcome will be communicated both to you and the shop, after which the client, by clicking on a button, transfers the browser onto the merchant system page. If the result is negative, the user is shown a short message explaining the reason for the denial, at which point the user can choose whether to retry to effect the transaction or to return to the store.
